Dr. Jason Baynes, Health East Medical Center Presentation to YMCA of Greater Bergen County

Dr. Jason Baynes and Tiffany Porter from Health East Medical Center (Englewood) stopped by this week to visit the YMCA Happy Day Childcare Center. On behalf of Health East Medical Center he presented a check for $1,000 to help support the many Y programs that serve Bergen County children. Dr. Baynes resides in Teaneck and is also a member of the YMCA of Greater Bergen County Board of Directors. The YMCA is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization offering financial assistance program for those individuals and families that qualify as well as providing program subsidy for much needed community programs. Childcare, camp, swimming lessons and teen programs are just a few of the many programs that benefit from the Annual Campaign.

About Jason Baynes, M.D. 

Dr. Jason Baynes is a highly trained and qualified Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon. After obtaining his undergraduate degree from Princeton University he went on to receive his Medical Degree from Yale University. He then completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

In addition to being an on-field physician for many high school football teams, Dr. Baynes has worked as a team physician for a wide array of professional and collegiate sports teams. 

During the annual Philadelphia Orthopedic Society For Sports Medicine Fellows’ Research Symposium, Dr. Baynes was recognized as presenting the top paper for his clinical research on anterior rotator interval injuries of the shoulder.
